Minimal Loss of Nutrition
Due to metal cutting blades and the high speed centrifugal rotation of the blades, many common high impact juicers and blenders destroys large numbers of life giving enzymes in the juice, because they are subjected to heat. The Greenstar minimizes the loss of nutrients and enzymes in the juice through the unique triturating twin gear feature: an impeller press system with powerful, low, (110 RPM) turning speed. It virtually generates no heat, but still thoroughly crushes and presses fruits and vegetables, instead of cutting and shredding them into small pieces, resulting in more living food per glass of juice.

Its accessories will allow you to make mochi (oriental rice cakes), baby food, and desserts including frozen fruit sorbet. The Greenstar Juice Extractor is one of the most versatile juicers today. Greenstar also utilizes bioceramic and magnetic technology. It helps to add more positive ions and vitality to minerals in the juice. A series of magnets is situated at the core of each of the twin gears, they are about three-quarters of an inch long and are alternated between positive and negative. The positive and negative magnets are alternated when the two gears are placed side-by-side, which generates a positive charge at the molecular level, which means that the magnets create positive ions while the gears spin.
A secong level of bioceramic particles and an outer layer of stainless steel surrounds the inner core of magnets. The bioceramic particles, which is produced by far-infrared technology, also emits positive ions. The magnets therefore work in conjunction with the bioceramic particles, as the magnets recharge the bioceramic material and the bioceramic material in turn recharges the magnets. Without this recharging process, the effect of the magnets and the bioceramic materials would eventually diminish.
The positive ions produced by the magnets and the bioceramic material add more vitality and longevity to the life of the minerals, thus reducing oxidation and keeping the juice fresher for longer.
With magnetic and far infra-red technology incorporated in the new patented Twin Gear Technology, it enables the juice made in the Greenstar to be stored in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours without losing its health building benefits.
Quiet operation and long life
The Greenstar has been designed for life, so if an unusually hard substance should accidentally enters the gears, the reverse rotation override will immediately stops the motor to prevent any damages from occurring. Tthe Greenstars precision balanced 1/4 horsepower motor generates very little noise or vibration when compared with an ordinary juicer, mainly due to the special reduction gears which reduces the speed to 110 RPM. Patented Twin Gear Technology
The powerful triturating action of the TWIN GEAR cuts and juices virtually all vegetables including carrots, celery, leafy vegetables and wheat grass. The TWIN GEAR system also incorporates magnetic and bioceramic technologies that enables juices to be stored longer, without losing it's health benefits. The inline series of magnets, totaling 2600 gauss, situated at the core of each gear, assists in extracting more minerals from any produce or cereal grass. Surrounding this series is a second level of bioceramic material which aids in stabilizing the water molecules in the juice. How It Works:
The MikroFarm sprouting appliance was developed out of the growing demand for organic health food, and it's sprouts require little water but abundant amounts of oxygen. Other automated sprouters supply plenty of water, but only provide natural air displacement. Some sprouters re-circulate the same water! Your sprouts are irrigated with water containing toxins and inhibitors, and this is one of the major difference between the MikroFarm and other conventional sprouting methods.
The MikroFarm keeps sprouts cooler during the complete germination process minimizing the risk of mold, rotting, and other problems associated with other sprouting methods. In warm, humid areas it's virtually impossible to sprout with conventional methods, but the MikroFarm works in all these areas all year round! Helpful Notes
We recommend minimizing the exposure of the sprouts to light by covering the lid with a dark colored cloth, especially for yellow sprouts, such as soybean sprout. In green sprouts, this will yield a more tender taste. Just remove the cloth cover a few hours before harvesting in order to activate the chlorophyll in the sprouts.
If fatter sprouts are desired, add some weight on top of the UPPER SEED TRAY (example: pebbles). Make sure that what you use for weight is clean.
We recommend changing the water in the WATER BARREL every 1-2 days. If using a solution of 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide (1 table spoon to a barrel of water), this may not be necessary. It is normal and natural to have some foam floating on the water in the WATER BARREL during cultivation.
Soaking your seeds overnight before placing them in the sprouter will help the sprouts grow faster.
We recommend using organically grown seeds for better results.
Old seeds (more than a year old) may produce rotten sprouts or
may delay their growth.
If the water does not sprinkle within 30 seconds after the machine is
turned on, reassemble the WATER PRESSURE CONTROL TUBES.
Dos and Donts
Do Not place FreshLife Sprouter under direct sunlight, close to the oven or other kitchen appliances which generate heat.
Do Not allow sprouts to overgrow.
Do follow the instructions carefully.
Do clean the FreshLife Sprouter thoroughly after every harvest or usage.
Do make sure you unplug the electrical cord when assembling or cleaning the FreshLife Sprouter.
Do Not place the FreshLife Sprouter on or near surfaces that can be damaged if exposed to water. Small amounts of water may spray out during the sprinkling process or when the LID is removed.
Do Not over-water the sprouts by pouring additional water.
Do Not place the FreshLife Sprouter where children can easily reach it without adult supervision.
Do Not place FreshLife Sprouter close to other indoor plants or flowers.
Insects or diseases from them may be transmitted to and/or contaminate the sprouts.

Minimal Loss of Nutrition
Common with high impact juicers and blenders is that they destroy large numbers of enzymes in the juice by subjecting them to heat and shock, which is produced by metal the cutting blades and the high speed centrifugal rotation. The Greenstar, will try and retain the enzymes and nutrients in the juice through the unique triturating twin gear feature. With magnetic and bioceramic technology
also present in the Greenstar, more positive ions and vitality can be added to minerals in the juice. At the core of each of the twin gears is a series of magnets, each being three-quarters of an inch long and alternated between positive and negative. When the two gears are alternated, the positive and negative magnets are also alternated. This generates a positive charge.at the molecular level, so the magnets create positive ions as the gears spin.
A layer of bioceramic particles surrounds the inner core of magnets. The bioceramic particles, produced by far-infrared technology which also emit positive ions, have an outer layer of stainless steel. The magnets and bioceramic particles with in conjunction with one another, also recharging each other. Without this recharging, the effect of both the magnets and the bioceramic material each would eventually be diminished.

Q. What sort of vegetables and fruits can the Healthyjuicer accept?
A. The Healthyjuicer is excellent at juicing wheatgrass and can accept all types of vegetables including leafy vegetables such as spinach, lettuce, sprouts and parsley.
Q. How big is the healthyjuicer? Is it portable?
A. The healthyjucier is small and compact. without the handle it is only 7.5" high by 8" long.
Q. How long does it take to make a glass of juice?
A. It depends upon what you are juicing and the quantity you're inserting, but typically it takes less than 5 Minutes to make a 1 once cup of wheatgrass or 6 ounces of a mixed juice variety.
Q. Does the juice made from the Healthyjuicer contain any pulp.
A. The juice does contain a small amount of pulp which is an added health benefit. The included strainer can be used to remove any excess pulp.
Q. Is the juicer durable? What is it made of?
A. The Healthyjuicer is very durable, as it's made of Polycarbonate (Lexan), which is virtually indestructible, and all the high pressure parts are made from stainless steel.
Q. Does the juicer require electricity?
A. No electricty is required, as the juicer is hand powered.
Q. What sort of warranty does the juicer have?
A. The Healthyjuicer has a one-year warranty against parts malfunctioning under normal usage.
Q. Is there an advantage to having the juicer made out of plastic as opposed to metal?
A. It's actually better to have a juicer made out of plastic, as metal juicers can corrode over time as most fruits and vegetables are somewhat acidic.
Q. Can I return the juicer if I do not like it?
A. You may return the juicer if it has not been used. A 10% restocking fee will apply. Postage will not be refunded.
Q. Does the juicer take a lot of force to operate?
A. The juicer takes very little force to operate for softer fruits and vegetables such as apples, pears oranges etc. For other fruits and vegetables that are more firm or fibrous and for wheatgrass, the average adult should not have a problem operating the juicer as long as the amount of the material inserted into the juicer is a reasonable amount at any given time. If you are a senior and or have a condition such as arthritis, you might want to consider one of the electric juicers on the market such as an Omega.
Q. Can the juicer accept peanuts, almonds and other nuts to make nut butters?
A. The healthyjuicer does not make nut butters.
Q. Does the juicer accept soft fruits such as bananas and avocados?
A. The Healthyjuicer does not work well with very soft fruits or vegetables with a low moisture content such as bananas and avocados, these need to be pureed in a food processor.
Q. Can you crush ice or frozen fruits and vegetables?
A. It is not recommended that you use the juicer for ice or frozen items.
Q. What happens to the seeds in fruits such as grapes when they are juiced?
A. The seeds will be expelled from the front of the juicer along with the excess waste pulp. (you may want to remove larger seeds or if there is a large proportion of seeds to prevent the juicer from becoming clogged)
Q. On certain fruits and vegetables such as apples and tomatoes, there does not seem to be much juice coming out and a lot of the fruit or vegetable remains in the juicing chamber turning into mush.
A. This problem can occur on certain fruits and vegetables such as apples and tomatoes that are old and have become spongy. They may also have been harvested under poor growing conditions and contain a very low moisture content. Unfortunately these types of fruits and vegetables would not yield much juice from most juicers on the market or would yield a more thick and pasty result. You can however, improve the juice yield on these types of fruits and vegetables with the healthyjuicer by reversing (counter clockwise) the direction of the handle one turn every few regular turns (clockwise). You may also want to remove the small cap to allow more excess waste material to expel from the front and also juice more fiborous vegetables in between such as celery or carrots to help push the soft material out
Tips on using the Healthyjuicer:
If the base seems to be stuck to the surface try turning the locking knob slightly back again and it should un-stick the rubber base.
If you are unable to turn the locking knob on the base of the healthyjuicer, please make sure the body is slid fully into the slot of the base.
When juicing citrus fruits such as oranges and lemons you first need to remove the rind.
If the base slides around or becomes loose make sure the surface and base are completely dry before reattaching.
When juicing softer fruits and vegetables such as apples, alternate with more fiborous vegetables such as celery to help push the softer pulp through the chamber.

If you experience juice leaking from the front of the end cap, you may need to tighten the end cap slightly with the included wrench (do not over tighten) this is best done when the body of the juicer is mounted to the base.
After you finish juicing it is best to slightly loosen the end cap with the included wrench before removing the body for cleaning.
If you experience a lot of resistance when juicing you may want to reverse the handle direction slightly every few turns and /or reducing the amount of material you are inserting.
It is not necessary to use the small white end cap when juicing other fruits and vegetables, only when juicing wheatgrass.
Cutting hard vegetables such as carrots or beets into very thin strips will make juicing them much easier.
When you are finished juicing with the healthyjuicer and ready to clean it, remove the handle and un lock the base. Tilt the base and body slightly back towards you to help remove any excess juice making sure the juicer spout is over the cup. Then tilt the body and base forward and place them over the sink. You may then slide the body forward off of the base, loosen the small cap and proceed to wash out the components. It is not necessary to wash the base but just to wipe it clean with a damp cloth or sponge.
