The single gear masticating juicers use a single, slow turning auger to crush or mash the produce into the screens of your juicer and/or the walls of your juicer. The juicers first grate the produce, then they masticate it and finally they juice it to ensure that what they dispense is what you require. The auger turns very slowly and as such can be appropriate for coarse and fine output, should you require that. Masticating juicers are the type of juicers that masticate or chew the produce which is fed into them, as opposed to the juicers which use a faster rotation cycle. These juicers are adept at producing homogenized products as well as creating healthy juice. Masticating juicers can also make products like nut butters or shaved ice when you use the right arrangement of screens.
